Organic Evolution
Research Interests
FAB* is the organic evolution research group in Biological Sciences at SFU. Comparative phylogenetic methods are our glue, and our approaches tend to be at the interface of genetic, behavioural, and ecological processes. Research areas are highly diverse, ranging from human behavioural genetics through evolutionary immunology and epidemiology, animal models of disease, phylogeography, conservation triage, mating system evolution, and the evolution of genetic and organismal diversity. The group's goal is to provide rigourous advanced training in a collective and collegial atmosphere. We meet every week.
